Now, the family-owned RV Park has been recognized as the Best Large Park of 2016 in the entire United States!
The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC), the governing association of the RV Park and Campground Industry, officially recognized Lake George RV Park as the Best Large Park of 2016 back in November. This designation was part of ARVC’s 2016 Park of the Year Awards.
ARVC chose Lake George RV Park as the winner based on five criteria:
- Exceptional guest experiences as a result of excellence in operations
- Professionalism
- Marketing
- Customer service
- Industry involvement
This Best Large Park of 2016 Award is particularly special for Lake George RV Park because the resort just celebrated its 50th anniversary last year too! After decades of hard work and providing campers with top-of-the-line facilities, Lake George RV Park has achieved nationwide recognition.
In a press release, Lake George RV Park President/CEO Dave King said, “As a business dedicated to the precious time people take off work to have a vacation, it is critical that we don’t just meet, but actually exceed people’s hopes.”
Not only does the 120+ acre resort feature 400 RV campsites, recreation courts, and on-site recycling, but Lake George RV Park is a proud supporter of the local community. The resort donates funds to the area’s Double H Ranch, a nonprofit organization that allows children with life-threatening illnesses the chance to experience camping.
Lake George RV Park plans to continue to offer everything you need to have a memorable RV camping experience in the Lake George area, and more! There are plans to build an expanded resort aquatic area at the RV park, which is expected to be completed around summer 2018.
