1. New York Rock n’ Roots Festival
Friday, May 20 & Saturday, May 21
NY Rock n’ Roots is all about bringing people together to celebrate music, friendship, and love for the community and the environment! The two-day festival takes place this weekend at Charles R. Wood Park, and features headliners Rick Derringer and Badfish – A Tribute to Sublime.

The Lake George Community Garden Club’s Annual Perennial Plant Sale will be held in Shepard Park on Saturday from 9:00AM – 2:30PM. The sale offers hundreds of high-quality perennial plants grown and dug from the club’s member’s zone 4 and 5 gardens!

The 15th Annual Randy’s Run 5K and 3rd Annual Murphy’s Mile will be run on Saturday morning! The races honor former Lake George teachers Randall Madison and Ed Murphy, and benefit local charities and the Lake George High School 9th Grade.

The Lake George Historical Museum will dedicate its new exhibit on the local police force this Saturday at 11:00AM! The ceremony will include speakers, coffee, and doughnuts, and all are welcome to attend.

Don’t miss the Springtime Arts & Crafts Show taking place this weekend at Shepard Park! Festivities include arts & crafts, food & beverage vendors, family-friendly activities, and more.
Sunday, May 22
The annual Hike for Hope: Cody’s Climb kicks off on Sunday at 10:00AM at the first overlook of the paved access road up Prospect Mountain. The event supports American Foundation for Suicide Prevention programs and helps remove the stigma surrounding mental illness.
