Internationally recognized outdoor retailer L.L.Bean recently announced that it will be opening its first New York outlet store at Lake George’s Adirondack Outlet Mall toward the end of August!
The store’s facility will be 13,600 square feet, and will employ approximately 25 people. Products will include outdoor gear, footwear, and apparel that has been discontinued, overstocked, or gently used. L.L.Bean is currently hiring for its new location, and is accepting applications online.
In a statement, L.L.Bean representatives stated that the retailer chose Lake George “due to its popularity as a year-round outdoor recreational destination, as well as the high level of traffic that the Adirondack Outlet Mall receives.”
L.L.Bean is best known for its Bean Boot, everyday free shipping, and 100% satisfaction guarantee. The retailer is currently operating four full-retail stores in the state, with locations in Albany, Fayetteville, Yonkers, and Victor. The Lake George store will be L.L.Bean’s 11th outlet.
