Looking for something fun to do this weekend? We’ve rounded up lots of fun activities that will keep you entertained until Monday morning!
We’ve found four events that are sure to be a good time for people of all ages!
Although the convention itself is closed to the public, there are two parades down Canada Street that anyone can attend! The Mardi Gras Parade begins at 7:00pm on Friday night and the Dress Parade steps off at 1:00pm on Saturday.
Whether or not you’ve been to the Fort William Henry Museum before, you should absolutely take advantage of the community days this weekend. Show proof that you’re a resident of Warren, Washington, Essex, or Saratoga County, and you get into the museum for free!
This fun event is great for corvette owners and spectators alike. There will be food, a DJ, dash plaques, trophies, and more! All proceeds from the event will be donated to VET HELP, a non-profit organization that provides services to veterans and their families.
Who doesn’t love a classic Lake George fireworks show?! Find a spot anywhere along the shoreline in Lake George Village and watch the night sky light up, starting at 9:30pm.
Lots of venues will be featuring local musicians all weekend long!
Come see this female-fronted five-piece band rock out at King Neptune’s on Friday night! They’ll play a wide variety of music from modern sounds to classic rock.
Come see rising country artist Chelsea Cavanaugh and her professional band perform a two-hour set of original music and country covers at Shepard Park. Children in attendance will receive free gifts!
Singer/songwriter Steve Rhoads blends influences of classic and contemporary acoustic folk/rock and country music. Listen to him play on The Algonquin’s lakeside deck this Saturday afternoon!
Listen to King’s English at The Full Moon while you enjoy a brew from the extensive beer menu and one of the many appetizers, entrees, or pizzas the bar offers.
This event offers a little something for everyone. Not only can you listen to music by Pipe Kings, but you’ll also get a front-row seat to the fireworks over the lake!
Sunday is Father’s Day – honor the dads in your life by partaking in some of these fun events with them!
On Saturday and Sunday, dads will receive a complimentary wine cocktail at Adirondack Winery! There will also be special wine tasting upgrades available all weekend long in honor of all the exceptional dads out there.
Can’t make it to the fireworks cruise on Saturday night? No problem! Fathers sail free on all cruises on Father’s Day (cruise only). You can choose from a 1-hour cruise on the Minne-Ha-Ha, a 2.25-hour cruise on the Mohican, or a brunch or dinner cruise aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrement!
What says “dad” better than beers and barbecue?! Make the drive down to the Saratoga Winery for an outdoor cookout with steamers, chicken, and burgers and listen to live music on the deck. Dads receive a free beer mug when they do a beer tasting!
Treat Dad to an exceptional Father’s Day dinner at the Wishing Well in Gansevoort! You can choose from two or three courses with some menu highlights including shredded duck “cigars,” baby back ribs, and bourbon bread pudding.
