It is that time of the year for families and individuals to file their taxes, but this year can be easier. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program of Tri-County United Way is offering FREE tax return assistance to individuals and families with household incomes less than $50,001. Trained volunteers will offer faster refunds and electronic filing for free! You must make an appointment and they will be available in the day and evening.
Residents should bring the proper documents available to allow a volunteer to provide accurate and efficient service to prepare your tax returns. VITA has partnered with the following locations to help you with your taxes, call the location applicable to your county to schedule an appointment.
