'Tis the season for...Apples! Visit one of the local Lake George orchards in the region and enjoy hand-picking your very own juicy Cortland, Empire, McIntosh or other apple variety. You can even climb the trees and get the perfect one at the very top. Don't forget to enjoy the delicious farm-fresh local produce, jams, honey, and cider and donuts found at most local orchards!
Where to go: We suggest Hick's Orchard in Granville and Saratoga Apple in Schuylerville. But there are a number of local U-pick apple orchards you can visit... including Bownan Orchards, Billy Bob's, Fairview Orchard, Applejack's, Tucker Farms, Rulf's Orchard and many others. Visit one this weekend!
