Lake George Beaches

You don't have to hit the coast to find a relaxing day on the beach. Lake George beaches offer pristine views of the lake and the surrounding Adirondack Mountains.

Million Dollar Beach is the largest and most well-known beach in Lake George, offering lifeguards, showers, picnic areas and plenty of room to swim. All beaches are directly on Lake George, which has incredibly clean, pristine waters. More information and photos of Lake George beaches here.

Learn more: Moreau State Park Beach is located just off exit 17S of the Adirondack Northway. In 2005, the beach was named one of Reserve America's Top Outdoor Locations. It is a small lake with a sandy beach, snack bar and pavilioin / picnic area, surrounded by shady trees. The park is also an ideal hiking, boating and fishing destination. Learn more: The Saratoga Spa State Park Pools, about a half hour south of Lake George, consist of the Victoria Pool and Peerless Pool. The Peerless Pool Complex has a main pool, separate slide pool and a children's wading pool with mushroom fountain. The Victoria Pool was the first heated pool in the United States! The pool is no longer heated, but still rich in history and cultural attraction. Both pools have showers, locker rooms and restrooms and require a nominal admission fee.
