Learn more: The Saratoga Spa State Park Pools, about a half hour south of Lake George, consist of the Victoria Pool and Peerless Pool. The Peerless Pool Complex has a main pool, separate slide pool and a children's wading pool with mushroom fountain. The Victoria Pool was the first heated pool in the United States! The pool is no longer heated, but still rich in history and cultural attraction. Both pools have showers, locker rooms and restrooms and require a nominal admission fee.
