đź‘» Ghost Tours & A Haunted Wax Museum

Fort William Henry Museum
For thrill-seekers and history buffs, few activities compare to exploring the region’s haunted past. The Fort William Henry Museum offers nightly ghost tours that delve into chilling stories from the 18th century.

And, bonus - they're also offering paranormal investigations now, for a group of up to six people! Guests are welcome to bring their own investigation equipment to capture EVPs, spirit activity, cold spots, and unexplained anomalies.

Frankenstein Wax Museum
For something a little lighter but still spooky, check out the Frankenstein Wax Museum, open during the season until 10:30pm every day except Thursdays they close at 9:30pm. This monster-themed attractions expertly combines animatronic figures, wax sculptures, and special effects for a scarily good time.

And, there's a bonus here, too: The attraction is rumored to actually be haunted! Hear it from local Alan Nudi who worked there as a teenager:
I saw a mother and daughter in ankle-length dresses enter a hallway through a motion sensing area without triggering the sensors, then walked slowly together and past each exhibit, not paying any attention to them. As they approached the stairs, I radioed to the staff at the bottom, something we always did for safety. But after I watched them go down, the person at the bottom radioed back asking when they were coming down, to my surprise, because I had already watched them go down. We contacted the front and nobody had seen them but me!
