Where:

  • Million Dollar Beach in Lake George Village

Distance Options:

  • Sprint distance: 750-meter swim, 12.4-mile bike, 3.1-mile run
  • Olympic distance: 1500-meter swim, 24.8-mile bike, 6.2-mile run
  • Long course distance: 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, 13.1-mile run

With an open water swim race in crystal-clear Lake George and a bike and run course that weaves through tree-lined roads and lakeside stretches, it’s easy to see why this is considered one of the most beautiful triathlons in New York.

When:

  • Dates: August 30 - August 31, 2025
  • Time: Long course waves begin at 7 am (August 30, 2025), Olympic and sprint waves begin at 6:30 am (August 31, 2025)

  • Sprint triathlon fee (base price): $124
  • Olympic distance triathlon fee (base price): $215
  • Long course distance triathlon fee (base price): $309
  • *Additionally, a USAT membership is required for all participants. There are discounts for youth and military personnel as well as early registration.

Fort William Henry Hotel

Located just steps from the start and finish lines, you can’t beat the convenience of the Fort William Henry Hotel. It offers accommodations at varying price points from moderate to more luxurious.

The complex features on-site dining, two pools, and a variety of other amenities, including private fire pits and a whirlpool spa.

Carbo Load and Then Refuel Post-Race

Load up your plate with traditional pre-race favorites like pasta and bread and then celebrate a successful finish with your favorite meal.

Head to the Lake George Beach Club for a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Their large menu features seafood favorites like salmon and lobster and lighter fare such as salads and sandwiches. And live music is a staple, so this is a great place to celebrate post-race.

Lakeside Restaurant & Lounge

The Lakeside Restaurant & Lounge is located inside the Fort William Henry Hotel. It’s a great spot for elevated dishes such as slow-roasted Hudson Valley duck breast.

They also offer traditional favorites like pasta, meatballs, and pizza, so it’s a sure bet if you need carbs.

Giuseppe's Pizzeria & Restaurant

This family-owned spot offers traditional Italian favorites, and if you feel like hunkering down in your hotel room, good news—they deliver. Some say Giuseppe’s has the best pizza in Lake George; try it and see what you think!

Mario's Restaurant

This spot is located at the northern end of Lake George village and has been serving Italian classics for over 70 years!

Mario’s is a great place to find imported pastas, steaks, seafood, and more. Plus they have a full bar and an extensive wine menu.

Fort William Henry Museum

Experience life as it was during the French and Indian War and view reenactments, play 18th century games, and learn about the history of this historic Fort.

Six Flags Great Escape Theme Park

One of the biggest amusement parks in the region, the Great Escape offers over 100 rides, shows, and attractions. The waterpark is a great place to cool off on a hot day, and you're sure to have a fun time trying the different thrill rides.
