Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner & Event Customer Service Assistant. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who enjoys both behind-the-scenes work and guest interaction. You'll help keep Brookledge sparkling clean and ready for guests while also serving as a welcoming presence during events.

Key Responsibilities
Cleaning Duties:

Clean and reset cabins, bathhouses, and common areas between guest stays and events

Maintain cleanliness of the pavilion, bar area, dressing suites, and outdoor spaces

Restock supplies, toiletries, paper goods, and linens as needed

Wash, dry, and fold laundry (towels and linens)

Follow cleaning checklists to meet Brookledge’s high standards

Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Venue Manager

Event Customer Service:

Greet guests with warmth and hospitality during check-in and event arrival

Assist with light event setup and breakdown (e.g., moving signs, setting out water stations)

Answer questions, give directions, and support guests during their stay

Provide backup support to the Venue Coordinator as needed

Ensure all shared spaces remain tidy and welcoming during events

Requirements
Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or customer service preferred

Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently

Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor

Comfortable working weekends and occasionally evenings

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move between buildings and outdoor areas

Reliable transportation to Middle Grove, NY

Schedule & Compensation
Seasonal: Primarily Friday–Sunday with occasional weekday shifts

$17-$20/hour based on experience plus tips

Flexible scheduling; hours vary depending on events and booking calendar
