Who’s Invited?
Everyone! Whether you have a pug, a totally different pup, or no pet at all, this family-friendly day welcomes all animal lovers. You don’t need a curly-tailed companion to enjoy the festivities—bring the kids, stroll the grounds, and take in the sheer cuteness.
What to Expect
Picture an afternoon filled with happy snorts, wagging tails, and dozens of costumed pups strutting through the park. Alongside the canine parade, visitors can enjoy local food, craft vendors, pumpkin decorating, lively music, and endless photo ops in a fun, upbeat setting.

2026 Theme: “Down on the Farm” — Get ready to see pugs channeled as roosters, barnyard animals, farmers, and tractors!
Festival Highlights & Schedule

11:00 AM: Gates open! DJ “Absolute Sound” and MC Chas Gikinis kick off the music, pug registration and free souvenir giveaways get underway, and complimentary pumpkin decorating begins (available while supplies last).

12:00 PM: Opening ceremony and Pledge of Allegiance, immediately followed by the star attraction: the Pug Parade.

1:00 PM: A special performance by the Witch Way Wanderers Dancing Witches.
Throughout the afternoon, browse pet-centric vendors like Benson’s Pet Center, grab treats from Adirondack Sips & Sweets, and meet adorable, adoptable rescue dogs on-site with the Green Mountain Pug Rescue.
