Parks & Hiking Trails
It’s undoubtedly going to be an ideal weekend to stop by your favorite Lake George area park, or find a new one to explore. Gurney Lane Recreation Area has biking and walking trails and a picnic area, the Lake George Battlefield State Park is right near the lake and the Warren County Bikeway, and it would be a great time to hike up Prospect Mountain. Prospect Mountain Memorial Highway is not open yet, so the day use area at the top will be less crowded. Enjoy!
Fishing
April through early June is prime time for fishing in the region! Check out the Lake George Fishing Guide for info on licenses, regulations, and fishing spots. Never been before? Try going with a guide.
