After remaining closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor in Queensbury is finally ready to reopen on Saturday, May 1. Reservations are required, and we have all the details you need to know before visiting.
Thrilling Rides & Attractions Await at The Great Escape
Beginning Saturday, May 1, The Great Escape will be open on weekends throughout spring, and daily operation will start on Thursday, June 24. Although the waterpark (Hurricane Harbor) doesn’t open until Memorial Day weekend, most of the rides and attractions will be open to visitors.
To prepare for opening day, The Great Escape has established new safety measures and protocols to ensure their theme park is the perfect location for safe summer fun with the entire family. There will be health screenings for guests and team members, enforced social distancing, extensive sanitization and disinfecting protocols, and card/mobile payment only options.
The Great Escape will operate under state and local guidelines for crowd capacity limits, and reservations are required in advance for all members, season pass holders, and guests with a single-day or group ticket. Reservations can be made online here.
