Wondering what’s going on in the Lake George area this weekend? We’ve rounded up five events and things to do.
Historical Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides
Saturday, January 4
Fort William Henry hosts horse-drawn wagon rides now through February. What makes these rides unique is the history – a fort soldier tells you all about the battles and events that took place along the route!
Friday, January 3
If you’re available on Friday afternoon consider embarking on a one-hour snowshoe hike at Up Yonda Farm in Bolton Landing. The group will be looking for wildlife, and snowshoe rentals are available.
Sunday, January 5
Ever been to a class at the Adirondack Folk School in Lake Luzerne? If you’re the type to seek out indoor fun during the colder months this might be a great chance to check them out. They have a woodturning class happening this weekend.
Saturday, January 4
Check out father/daughter duo Pat and Meg at Frederick’s in Bolton Landing Saturday night.
Looking ahead to next week:
Amateur (Ham) Radio License Exam
Saturday, January 11
Looking to start new hobby or find a volunteer opportunity? Consider getting your Ham radio license!
