Wild Adriatic Presents: The Summit Music Festival

Local band Wild Adriatic is hosting their third annual music festival this weekend at The Queensbury Hotel. This year’s lineup includes Wild Adriatic, Rustic Overtones, Chestnut Grove, Annie in the Water, Andy Frasco, and Let’s Be Leonard.
Field of Flags: Veterans Appreciation Week at Fort William Henry

Visit Fort William Henry this weekend to see approximately 7,100 flags on museum’s west lawn. Each flag honors an active service member or veteran, and they’ll be on display through the end of next week. There will also be a musket salute on Monday, November 11.
Living History Event: Continue in Their Service & Save Their Country

Visit Fort Ticonderoga this Saturday for special programming that will depict the critical events of October 1776 through living history vignettes, demonstrations, and guided tours. In honor of Veteran’s Day, active service members and veterans will receive free admission to the event.

Take a scenic drive up Prospect Mountain for free this weekend in honor of those who have served. The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation is offering free admission for everyone to Prospect Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway, and veterans from the area will be in the parking area to welcome visitors.
