Get ready to play a round of golf for a wonderful cause! The Ben Osborn Memorial Fund will be hosting its charity golf tournament, The Ben – 2019, on Friday September 27 at Top of the World Golf Course overlooking Lake George.

Registration begins at 10 am and the tournament kicks off at 11:30 am. Participants will compete in teams in a four-man scramble, so sign up three of your golfing buddies! If you’re going solo, or bringing a guest who doesn’t play, you’ll be assigned a team.
Spend the afternoon playing 18 holes of golf, enjoying beer and soft drinks, and dining on lunch at the turn, all included in the entry fee. The cost to play is $125 and goes to support thousands of local children in the memory of a fallen hero.
After the game, join other competitors and guests for a reception, complete with drinks and appetizers, as well as an auction, 50/50 raffle, and award ceremony. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams and individuals, including the male and female players who win the closest-to-the-pin, straight-line-drive, and longest-drive contests. If a champion is crowned in the hole-in-one contest, they’ll win a new Chevrolet.
If you’d still like to participate but can’t compete, The Ben – 2019 is looking for volunteers, auction item donors, and sponsors for titles and holes.
All proceeds from the event go to the Ben Osborn Memorial Fund, which benefits children across the region. The Memorial Fund honors the memory of CPL Benjamin D. Osborn, a Queensbury resident who gave his life in Afghanistan on June 15, 2010 while serving our country during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Ben’s Fund has supported over 15,000 local children in need, including students at 54 schools in Warren, Essex, Washington, and Saratoga counties through donated supplies, electronics, eyeglasses, field trip expenses, tutoring, food, clothing, and more. The charity also adopts kids, families, and non-profits during the holidays, purchases supplies for local school nurses, grants two $500 scholarships to local high school seniors, supplies 12 food pantries, and provides free books to children through 21 Ben’s Book Stations.
The Ben – 2019 is made possible through the Ben Osborn Foundation’s collaboration with Cynthia Suprenant, Midas, and Whiteman Chevrolet.
