After a one-year absence, The American Music Festival for the Lake is back at Charles Wood Park and better than ever! This weekend, June 30th through July 1st, promises to be jam-packed with incredible country talent, and best of all, the shows are free and open to the public.

HEADLINER: Jamie Lee Thurston
Jamie Lee Thurston is a jack-of-all-trades entertainer, vocalist, instrumentalist, and producer, born to be on the stage. Thurston has performed with major country crowd-pleasers such as Dixie Chicks, Jason Aldean, and Brad Paisley. One of Thurston’s most notable claims-to-fame was writing Rodney Atkins’ 2009 single, “15 Minutes,” a song that reached Top 20 in US Hot Country Songs.
Lustre Kings
Lustre Kings is a band renowned around the world that performs more than 150 shows every year. Formed in the 90’s, this Rockabilly band continues to take their listeners back to popular roots rock.
Vinny Michaels
Vinny Michaels is an up-and-coming local country artist, with a steadily growing fan base. He’s performed at Caroline Street Pub, Jay’s Bar & Grill, The Saratoga Winery, and other local haunts.

HEADLINER: Amy Helm
The daughter of country classics Levon Helm and Libby Titus, Amy has country music blood flowing through her veins. She was a founding member of the alt-country collective, Ollabelle, and is famed for her fresh alt-country jams.
Girls Guns & Glory
Girls Guns & Glory is a Boston-based band with growing acclaim. Their masterful mixture of blues, country rock, and old-school country in their music gives them a distinct and memorable style. In 2011, they were named BMA winner for “Americana Artist of the Year.”
Raisinhead
The band Raisinhead has been a local favorite for the past 15 years. In their career, they have toured all over the Northeast, playing covers and original music.
Additional Information for Concert Attendees
Gates will open at noon on both days, with music beginning at 1:00PM. The headliner of the day will perform starting around 4:00PM.
Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for comfortable, outdoor seating.
Beverages and food will also be available to attendees.
