Take a short drive to Gore Mountain this Sunday for their annual Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Spectacular at dusk! Watch the fireworks and torch run in the base area, and then check out the live music and entertainment in the Tannery Pub & Restaurant.
Beat the winter blues and have some fun tasting wines at Adirondack Winery in Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. Stop in for a wine tasting session, have a free sample of their Hot Toddy wine cocktail, play a “guess the corks” game, and more.
Gore Mountain will offer their MLK Holiday Camp for kids this weekend! The camp, which is open to kids ages 4-12 (of all abilities), will feature two days of skiing and riding down the slopes with the same coaches. It’s a great way to spend the holiday weekend.
Two Fun Fundraisers
Attend the first of two galactic bowl fundraisers this Saturday night at Kingpin’s Alley Family Fun Center in South Glens Falls. There will be a live DJ playing the best music, and participants will be able to enjoy games and prizes. The entry fee is $15, and $5 of each entry will support the South High Marathon Dance.
Visit Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls on Saturday as the hometown Adirondack Thunder take on the Reading Royals in a thrilling hockey game. In recognition of Pink In The Rink Night, all proceeds from the post-game jersey auction will be donated to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital.

Purchase some original artwork at North Country Arts’ Shirt Factory Gallery this Friday during the opening of their $99 art exhibition. The opening night art party will run from 5:00pm-7:00pm, and admission is free.

2018 means a whole new year of exhibitions at The Hyde Collection in Glens Falls! Starting Sunday, January 14, The Hyde will present an exhibition that examines the pivotal role of Alphonse Mucha in shaping the aesthetics of French Art Nouveau. The exhibition will run through March 18, 2018.
