25th Annual Holiday Parade in Salem – Saturday, November 25
Looking to explore the Lake George Region this Saturday? Take a drive over to Salem for their 25th Annual Holiday Parade. This year’s theme is “A Very Sparkly Christmas,” and the parade will begin at 1:00pm on Vail Street. There will also be a variety of other holiday events and specials to check out throughout the day.
8th Annual Ticonderoga North Country Christmas – Friday, November 24 – Sunday, December 3
This Friday, Ticonderoga will kick off its annual North Country Christmas celebration! This week-long holiday event will include tons of activities and things to do for families throughout the community, such as wagon rides, a parade of lights, a chicken BBQ, holiday music, a tree lighting, and more.
Holiday Stroll & Tree Lighting in Lake Luzerne – Sunday, November 26
Take a short drive from Lake George to Lake Luzerne and enjoy a town tree lighting and holiday stroll on Sunday from 4:00pm-6:00pm. After the tree lighting, you can head over to the Harmon House for cookies, hot cocoa, and goodie bags for the kids. Raffles prizes will be available.
Prepare For Two Holiday Trains
Canadian Pacific Holiday Train – Sunday, November 26 & Monday, November 27
Get ready for the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train in the Lake George Region this weekend. The lighted train will first stop in the Saratoga Springs area on Sunday, and then it will visit Fort Edward, Ticonderoga, and other Adirondack communities on Monday. Bring a donation to the train and enjoy live entertainment. It’s a great way to get in the holiday spirit!
The Train To Christmas Town – Friday, November 24 – Sunday, November 26
The Train To Christmas Town is Saratoga & North Creek Railway’s newest holiday train ride for parents and their kids. The train ride experience is based on the classic children’s Christmas story “The Train To Christmas Town,” and it features an engaging cast of characters and holiday entertainment. Each trip begins and ends at the Stony Creek Resort in nearby Stony Creek.
