Annual Firemen’s Family Summer Festival & Craft Show – Friday, August 18 – Sunday, August 20
In the heart of Lake George Village in Shepard Park, the Lake George Volunteer Fire Department will present their annual Summer Festival & Craft Show on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The fair will be open from 10:00am-8:00pm on Friday and Saturday, and then on Sunday, it will be open from 10:00am-4:00pm.
Adirondack Folk School Summer Craft Festival – Saturday, August 20
In the nearby Town of Lake Luzerne, the Adirondack Folk School will host their annual Summer Craft Festival this Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm. Admission is free, and dozens of local craft and food vendors will be attending and featuring their goods. Stop by and listen to some live music as you browse the different vendors.
BBQ & Craft Fair – Saturday, August 19
Take a trip from Lake George to the nearby Crandall Park on Saturday afternoon from 12:00pm-5:00pm for a BBQ & Craft Fair. Multiple vendors will be featured at the fair, and there will also be musical entertainment, a chicken BBQ, pony rides, a bounce house, a Chinese raffle, and more. Support the Lending Hearts & Hands bottle drive and bring your empty bottles to the event!
Wax ’n’ Wix Candle Making Workshop – Saturday, August 19
As part of their summer activities, Gore Mountain will host a Wax ’n’ Wix Candle Making Workshop this Saturday from 10:00am-3:00pm. Learn how to make your own candle at Gore’s base lodge and take home your own beautiful, handcrafted candle. The event’s special pricing includes a scenic gondola ride at Gore too!
