Join Boats by George for their Ice Out Party & Demo Days going on this Saturday and Sunday! Celebrate the start of boating season on Lake George and enjoy live music, great food from the grills, and a wide selection of boats waiting for you to get behind the wheel.
The 8th annual Peoples Pixel Project at The Hyde Collection will take place on Sunday, April 30, from 2:00pm-4:00pm. This short film festival will showcase video shorts created by filmmakers living within 100 miles of Lake George. Most of the short films are just 3-5 minutes long. Admission is $10 per person.
Want to find out who has the best wings in the Glens Falls Region? Take a trip to Glens Falls this Saturday and taste some wings from participating restaurants and businesses during Wing Fest! Tasting will run from 12:00pm-3:00pm, and tickets are $1 each. The event will take place along Glen, Ridge, and Maple Streets.
Don’t miss out on the final maple event of the season – the Maple in April Festival in the nearby Town of Hadley. Over the course of two days, highlights at the festival will include maple goods, birds of prey, a petting farm, vendors, a car show, and much more.
Entertainment in Lake George Village
Grab your wine-loving friends and head over to the Adirondack Winery in Lake George for their Wine 101: Wine Cocktails event this Friday from 7:00pm-9:00pm. The friendly staff at the winery will help you through the process of making five delicious wine cocktails to sip on. The cost to participate is $30 per person.
Get ready for a live acoustic performance by local favorite Mike LaPoint at King Neptune’s Pub this Friday at 5:00pm. Stop by the lakeside bar and enjoy food, beer, and music.
Don’t miss out on Tim Ortiz’s acoustic set at the Lake George Beach Club this Saturday at 4:00pm. Ortiz regularly performs in Lake George and the Capital Region.
Visit the Lake George High School for a special fundraiser concert by the Adirondack Jazz Project this Sunday. Proceeds will go toward the Shepard Park Bandstand Improvement Project in Lake George Village. Tickets are $15 for adults and free for kids.

The Glens Falls YMCA is taking part in Healthy Kids Day this Saturday from 12:00PM-3:00PM. During this special event, the YMCA will feature bounce houses, games, prizes, and more for kids to enjoy. In addition, several vendors will be on hand to provide information about how your kids can stay healthy and productive this summer.
Attend the Lake George Beer Hub’s Blood, Sweat, and Beers event and help raise funds for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society of Upstate New York. Tickets are $60 at the door, and admission includes entertainment, a drink ticket, a brewery tour, and more.
Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury will host the North Country Ministry Annual Gala this Friday at 5:30pm. The gala will celebrate the Ministry’s 25th anniversary, and it will feature a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, raffle baskets, dinner, live music, and more. Tickets are $75 per person.
Ready to do some spring shopping? Chase Sports Complex in Glens Falls will host the Kids’ Exchange Spring Consignment Sale 2017 this Saturday from 9:00am-3:00pm. Over 20,000 new and gently-used items will be for sale, including clothes, toys & games, DVDs, sports gear, baby gear, and more. Not only that, but there will be face painting, pony rides, and other activities for kids to enjoy for free at the event.
