For those with ties to the Lake George Region, the name Charles R. Wood is instantly recognizable. Not only was Wood the imaginative founder of Storytown, Gaslight Village, and Waxlife USA, but he was also the philanthropic creator of Double H Hole in the Woods, and gave to a multitude of other charitable causes.

I remember little bo peep coming up to me and she wanted me to help her find her sheep. I remember hunting all over with her and we found them. That had to to be almost 60 years ago as I was very little. To this day when I hear anyone say or play the nursery rhyme I alway have a little flashback of that moment.
I also remember when I was around 7 we were in ghost town and after the bank robbery and shoot out we were walking down the street and my sister who was 3 saw one of the dead guys get up. She screamed and was very afraid.
