Adirondack Winery recently announced that they will be expanding state-wide! On June 1st, the NY-based winery launched its portfolio of wines with Opici Family Distributing with the hopes to have Adirondack Winery wines sold at wine and liquor stores, restaurants, hotels and bars, across New York State.
The winery was founded in 2008 in a small tasting room in Lake George Village. In their first year of business the owners, Michael and Sasha Pardy, produced about 1,000 cases of wine. By 2011 the demand for Adirondack Winery wines was so high that they moved to a new space in Queensbury to allow for the winery’s continual growth.
Just two years ago, Adirondack Winery’s wines were available at about 40 liquor stores, primarily in the Capital Region; Today Adirondack Winery wines are sold at more than 100 stores across New York State.
The family still owns the newly-renovated Tasting Room in Lake George where they house 35 wine varietals, which have won more than 100 medals at competition to date. Although the winery is expanding, the wines will always feel close to home because of the original Adirondack photography on each bottle!
