The Saratoga & North Creek Railway is kicking off the season with a number of new offerings and train excursions this summer and fall.
New for this year, beginning July and ending in October, the North End Local Service. This service will run from Thurman to North Creek twice a day
- departing 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM from Thurman
- departing 11:30 AM and 2:45 PM from North Creek
This is a great opportunity for Lake George visitors to explore more of the Adirondack region and visit additional attractions while enjoying a scenic train ride!
In addition to the new Thurman/North Creek train, Saratoga & North Creek railway will also be running the Saratoga Dinner Train service on “Dark Tuesdays” this summer. (Dark Tuesdays are when the track is closed to the public on Tuesday nights during the 6 week track season.)
This dinner train will depart Saratoga depot at 6:30 PM and will feature a five-course gourmet meal, full bar and white linen service in the unique and romantic setting of a glass-enclosed dome car.
In addition to Dark Tuesdays, the railway will host two additional Dinner Train departures from Saratoga Springs to North Creek. The first will be in June and the other in October to coincide with the peak of fall foliage season.
What would you rather do in North Creek — go hiking on the beautiful Adirondack trails, or shop til you drop at the charming stores in town?
