Before a TV show can become a national hit, there first must be a pilot. A pilot is a test-run, where producers try out what works with a show and what doesn’t. For a show about Lake George, producers at Mogul One Productions are testing out the ever pristine waters with “On the Lake.”
“On the Lake” is a one hour pilot, currently slated to be aired on News Channel 13 on June 23rd at 7 pm. After this airing, the producers want to pitch the show to the Travel Channel or the Discovery Channel!
“On the Lake” is the brain child of producer Paul Rutherford. The show serves as a nod to the beautiful lake, and everything in and around it.
The show will highlight homes and their owners around the lake as the main part of the program, but it will also feature boats on the lake, the history of the lake, and even a segment on ghost stories! There will also be a segment featuring Carl Heilman, and his tips for taking your best lake photography!
