How is winter going for everybody so far? It’s finally getting a little colder outside, maybe we’ll have ice for the last few weekends of the Lake George Winter Carnival!
We have a few updates on the events coming up this weekend. Check out the updated schedule here, and read on to see the most recent changes..
Updates:
Carnival organizers have set February 25th – 26th for the alternate date for the NY State Motorcycle & ATV Ice Race Championship, as there is still a lack of safe ice on the lake.
Golf Tournaments and Closest to the Pin Contests will take place at Battlefield Park if the ice isn’t safe (this weekend for sure).
ZUMBA has been added to the weekly events at Shepards Park, perfect for those that need to warm up their bones before icing down in the Polar Plunge!
Helicopter Rides will take off and land from Fort William Henry, while Monster Truck and Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides will be at Gaslight Village on West Brook Road.
Dog Sled Races have been removed from the schedule, due to the lack of snow and ice.
