The church has been a center piece of this town and public landmark for over 240 years. The church is a brick structure, this High Gothic Victorian architecture was built for it's acoustic's. Commercial Zoning is in place. Many opportunities performing arts center, art gallery, school, museum, multi unit dwelling, restaurant, auction house. Cir 1868 The former Zion Lutheran Church. It was damaged by a fire that burned an isolated area in the Sanctuary. It burned the into the sub floor and basement and rest room area below. Smoke damage is present throughout the Sanctuary. Two glass windows damaged from the fire. The rest of the stained glass is intact. The kitchen area in the basement and the furnace room The kitchen area in the basement and the Annex building were not damaged by the fire at all. This building is on the Historical Register.
