Bloom & Blend: Drawing Flowers with Prismacolor Pencils
Thursdays, July 17, 24 & 31 | 6–8 PM- The class is ALL THREE Thursdays for a total of 6 hours of instruction.

Ages 15+ | No experience needed, but some drawing.experience is helpful.
In this relaxed and inspiring 3-part class, you’ll learn how to transform floral photographs into vibrant colored pencil drawings using Prismacolor pencils. Over three evenings, we’ll explore the fundamentals of layering, blending, and creating dynamic lighting to bring blooms to life on paper.
You’ll learn:
- Techniques for smooth color blending
- How to create realistic light, depth, and dimension
- Tricks for translating photo references into expressive line and color
- Why Prismacolors might become your new favorite art tool

Whether you’re new to drawing or already in a committed relationship with your sketchbook, this class is designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and send you home with floral art that makes you proud.
Please bring your own Prismacolor pencil set (minimum 24-count). If you'd like, you may bring a close up, highly detailed picture of a flower to draw. We will have photos at the class as well.
All other materials will be provided.
