CANCELED: Janey's Ride
Please Note (7/7/2020): Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event organizers for Janey's Ride have canceled the event for 2020.
About the Ride
This ride was originally organized to help out the Fairchild family. Shortly before opening Grey Ghost Bicycles, Steve’s wife Janey was diagnosed with breast cancer. After rounds of treatment in Glens Falls and in Boston, she is now in remission.
This ride is now held to raise money for the Breast Cancer Care & Research Fund at the Glens Falls Hospital, to help others like the Fairchilds. Grey Ghost Bicycles not only donates the proceeds from the ride to the hospital but a portion of each Grey Ghost Bicycles cycling jersey sold in the shop goes to the hospital as well.
