The public is invited to the 8th Annual Artist in Residence Exhibit and Sale which will feature the work of six women artists who join us from throughout the Northeast.

About this event
Years before Yaddo began operating as an artists’ retreat at Spencer and Katrina Trask’s property, the couple built Wakonda Lodge and hosted artists from the Art Students League of New York. Young artists, such as Georgia O’Keeffe, spent summers painting at Wiawaka. In the summer of 2016, we continued that tradition by hosting talented artists who took up “residence” in Wakonda. We have been welcoming a talented group of artists since.
