On Friday, July 4th & Saturday July, 5th from 10am-5pm, talented glass artist Rich Selfridge will be doing glass demos at Thyme Glass Arts!
Rich’s glass art journey began in 2000 amidst the vibrant art scene of Knoxville, TN. What began as torchworking small trinkets, evolved into the creation of larger, more intricate hot glass dishware and sculptures. With each piece, Rich pushes the boundaries of his medium exploring new forms, textures, and colors.
In 2012, he began teaching. Each summer, he dedicates himself to inspiring the next generation of artists, mentoring over 800 children in the intricate art of glasswork. With each piece Rich creates, he seeks to evoke a sense of wonder and awe, inviting viewers to see the world through his eyes. His art serves as a testament to the power of creativity to transform, inspire, and unite us all.
