We really enjoyed this site! We dont camp frequently but there were a few things that stood out about this place:

1. Great staff - very helpful and nice. Makes a world of difference!
2. Location - close to Lake George village and I liked the layout of the site
3. People - the people here were all really nice as well. I am always a little leary of fellow campers but these people were just great. We had issues putting our tent up and people from all directions flocked to help.
4. Clean restrooms
5. Nice movie area ( they were playing Frozen the night we were there )

The only thing I would recomend was keeping the pool open longer. My daughter wanted to swim around 8 PM and it was closed. Overall we would recomend highly and return. :)

We were looking for an easy, fun place to stay in town that would allow us to go to the Big Apple Circus without a fuss. What a great surprise this campground was! We usually tent and require no hookups, but there were sites that had all the combinations you'd every want. The sites were clean and private. The bathhouses were extremely clean for a campground. The grounds were very well maintained. We had our dog with us, and had no "pet" issues with other dogs. Other campers were curtious and the kids had plenty of other kids to play with. The pool was very clean. The proximity of the playground to the pool and rec hall were perfect/ plenty of things for everyone to do! My kids can't wait to come back and have another hay ride. We missed movie night due to the circus, so we have something to look forward to on our next visit. The store was well stocked with supplies. I've camped at many campgrounds through out my years, and this one was one of the nicest.
