Would you like to learn how to go really green in your home and garden? We hope you’ll join us at a first-time-ever event for Lake George.
The LGA’s Lake-friendly Living Open House is on Saturday, June 4, from 10 am – 2 pm, here at the LGA. This rain-or-shine event is FREE.
You’ll meet over 15 experts in landscaping, septic systems, stormwater design and permeable pavement, in one place at one time. Learn about creative and innovative landscaping solutions that are not only effective and aesthetically pleasing, but also protect the Lake.
Product representatives and installers will share ideas for permeable patios, walkways and driveways, advanced treatment septic systems, rain gardens, shoreline buffers, native plants, and more!
Experts from the LGA, Cornell Cooperative Extension, the Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District, and the Lake Champlain-Lake George Regional Planning Board will provide information about lake-friendly lawn care, septic system maintenance, and more. Rain barrels and native plants will be available for sale, and you can have your soil pH-tested for free while you wait.
Who else will be here?
