As noted in the left image, there is a beautiful swing located in the front of the motel (that is my mother and me sitting in it last year). It is one of the most special (and utilized) aspects of staying here. It is so much fun to just sit and observe the village, cars, people, and parasailers on the Lake. The Admiral is not located on Lake George, but directly across, and you can still take in the beauty of the mountains.
The other image was taken when we were departing this past September. Lake George has an annual car show the weekend after Labor Day, and there were guests present with some really awesome classic vehicles! I like this pic too because it gives a perspective into the layout and colors of the Admiral. As the blog moves forward, I will continue to post more pics and memories from here.
The motel is family-run, and I honestly can say the guests feel like family while staying there. Janine and Sue are the heart of the Admiral and go out of their way to make sure all of their guests’ needs are attended to and taken care of. Every morning coffee and tea are available on their awesome pool deck. What I most look forward to during my stay there is to sit in the rocker on the deck with my coffee. I have met many fun and interesting people during my morning deck times. It’s relaxation multiplied!!
I would highly recommend the Admiral Motel as the lodging choice for summer and fall. The Admiral Motel is located on Canada Street right at the beginning of Lake George Village. The Admiral is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, boat cruises, beaches, and miniature golf courses. You literally could leave your car in the parking lot for a week and never have to use it. Also, there is a convenience store known as the Price Chopper within walking distance. What more could anyone ask for? 🙂
The Admiral will have rooms available beginning the middle of May, but April is when the reservations start (as stated in the beginning of this entry). Our friends who accompanied us last year fell in love with it and can’t wait to stay there again!
