About this event
Join the 250th celebration of the Skenesborough Capture Day (May 9, 1775) and the capture of the sloop “Katherine” renamed the “Liberty” (May 11, 1775) to be held at the Skenesborough Museum on May 11, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m.
In addition, the following is scheduled:
- Dedicate the Marvin Brooks, Joe Arquette, Jim Aiken Trapper Cabin
- Re-dedicate the Nick LaPlanca D&H caboose
- Honor those who died on the deck of the Ticonderoga
- Open the 1976 time capsule
