New York State legislation (S02328) mandates that all food service establishments that handle, cook, store, serve, deliver, remove and dispose of food will be required to have one ServSafe-certified individual on staff. Local hospitality and food service businesses seeking certification for employees are invited to register staff for this workshop.  Individuals who successfully complete the 10-hour program and examination will receive the certification, which is valid for 5 years.

Participants are encouraged to pick up and review the required book in advance of the course session to support participation in discussion and successful completion of the certification exam.  Please contact the Office of Continuing Education about the availability of books in advance.

Registration for this class closes on Thursday, April 5  to ensure timely receipt of course materials; receipt of course materials may be delayed for individuals registering after that date.
