Music played an important role during the American Civil War, which had an enormous impact on our musical heritage. Join us in this interactive workshop, and explore how and why music influenced both the Confederate and Union armies. Learn how the “Battle of the Bands” often occurred on the night before a battle, and how music from this era inspires musicians today.
