Oktoberfests, Fall Fests & Halloween Fun
October 7 – 9
The classic Oktoberfest that takes place every year in the Village is always a popular event with nonstop German music and food, local artisan vendors, carnival rides, crafts, keg tossing, and more adult- and kid-friendly fun.

The Oktoberfest Luncheon Cruise is an integral part of the Oktoberfest celebrations in Lake George! Get your tickets today from the Lake George Steamboat Company. They also have a Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner Cruise option.
October 8 & 9
West Mountain’s Fall Festival takes place over two weekends and this is the first one. Highlights include scenic chair lift rides, hay wagon rides, mountaintop yoga, live music, brewery tastings, games, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and more.
October 8 – 10
It’s not only Fright Fest and A Taste of October, but this weekend is Kids Boo Fest at Great Escape as well, plus Bark in the Park on Sunday.
Farms, Food & Drink

October 7
Enjoy everything garlic at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers Market, including a garlicky food contest, a variety of different kinds of garlic from local vendors, and more artisan foods, baked goods, and beverages.
Holiday Inn Resort’s Harvest Bar
October 7 – 9
It’s the second and final weekend for the Harvest Bar at the Holiday Inn Resort, with seasonal food and drinks specials coupled with fall vibes.

The annual self-guided Thurman Fall Farm Tour takes you to farms close to Lake George for tours, delicious foods including cheese and maple products, and there’s a scheduled breakfast and lunch as well.
History, Mystery & Theatre

Lake George Dinner Theatre: First Night
through October 8
Last call for First Night! This romantic comedy put on by the Lake George Dinner Theatre includes dinner with the show, and the hilariously fun long-running production ends on Saturday.

In addition to their Haunted History Tours, Fort William Henry has Fort by Firelight going on this weekend and next. Get immersed in the action in the eerie darkness of the fort – can you escape the enemies and find your way using only lanterns and torches?

It’s Path Through History Weekend, and it’s also the last weekend the Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance is doing guided tours in the park. They’ve only been doing them on Saturdays, but there is a tour this Sunday as well for the holiday weekend.
