Get ready for one of the biggest music events on the shores of Lake George – the Adirondack Independence Music Festival! Enjoy two days of fantastic performances at the Charles R. Wood Park Festival Commons, featuring Formula 5, West End Blend, Twiddle, Mister F, Capital Zen, and many more bands. It’s going to be a party!

12th Annual Lake George Triathlon Festival – Saturday, September 2 & Sunday, September 3
The 12th Annual Lake George Triathlon Festival is taking place this weekend in the Lake George area. The Lake George Triathlon (Olympic Distance) will take place on Saturday, and then the Big George Triathlon (Half Iron Distance) will take place on Sunday. Stop by and cheer on the competitors as they swim, run, and bike. The courses are spectator friendly.
Ridge Run Hike at Moreau State Park – Monday, September 4
Join fellow hikers for the Ridge Run Hike at Moreau Lake State Park in Gansevoort this Monday. The trail will take hikers past the overlook of Moreau Lake, and it is about 4 miles round trip. Reservations are required, so call ahead of time.

Visit North Coutnry ARTS at their 2nd Floor Gallery at City Hall in Glens Falls for their September Art Party this Friday from 5:00pm-7:00pm. You’ll have the chance to meet featured artist Frederick Holman, see some beautiful paintings, and enjoy delicious refreshments.
Labor Day Family Camp at Chingachgook – Friday, September 1 – Monday September 4
Camp Chingachgook is hosting a four-day family retreat over Labor Day weekend with activities for both kids and adults, including kayaking, hiking, archery, rock climbing, campfires, and more. Meals will be provided from Friday dinner through lunch on Monday.
