25th Annual Ticonderoga Area Car Show – Sunday, August 6
One of the Lake George Region’s biggest car shows of the year is happening this Sunday – the annual Ticonderoga Area Car Show! Held at Bicentennial Park in Ticonderoga, this huge car show will feature awards, food, vendors, a kids’ zone, a 50/50 raffle, and much more. Admission is free for spectators, and the event will start at 9:00am and run through the afternoon.
Classic Car Show – Friday, August 4
Head northwest of Lake George this Friday and stop by The Hub in Brant Lake for their evening Classic Car Show from 5:30pm-8:30pm. All makes and models of cars are welcome, and there will be prizes for the best in show. This event is sponsored by the Tri-Lakes Business Alliance and the North Warren Chamber of Commerce.

Family Savings Weekend at Gore Mountain – Saturday, August 5 & Sunday, August 6
Want to have some weekend fun with the family in the great outdoors? Head over to Gore Mountain this Saturday and Sunday for their Family Savings Weekend! All kids 19 and under can enjoy unlimited summer activities for just $20pp, including gondola rides, bounce inflatables, and tons of base attractions.
In support of the local Prospect Center – a division of the Center for Disability Services – the 26th annual Beach Volleyball Tournament in Lake George will take place at Million Dollar Beach this Saturday and Sunday. There will be five teams per net, per day, and the cost is $200 per team and $25 per alternate player. Players will be competing for cash prizes and awards.

Last of the Red Hot Lovers – the Lake Theatre – Today Through Saturday, August 5
Performances of the delightful comedy known as “Last of the Red Hot Lovers” continue this week at the Lake Theatre in Lake George. You can catch the play at 6:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this week. Then, the next performance will be on Wednesday, August 9.
Adirondack Theatre Festival: The Boy in the Bathroom – Today Through Friday, August 4
Don’t miss out on the final performances of “The Boy in the Bathroom” at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls! This sweet, quirky, and heartfelt musical love story is about a boy who has built a world for himself inside of his bathroom. Presented by Adirondack Theatre Festival, there will be shows on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week.
Weird Science at King Neptune’s – Saturday, August 5
Weird Science – the Ultimate 80’s Experiment – will perform live at King Neptune’s Pub in Lake George Village this Saturday at 9:00pm. They’ll be playing everything from AC/DC to Cyndi Lauper!
Boots on the Beach – Sunday, August 6
Ready for some country music in Lake George? Head over to the Lake George Beach Club this Sunday starting at 3:30pm for Boots on the Beach, featuring Sunshine & Whiskey and Grit N’ Whiskey.
Festival For the Lake – Friday, August 4 – Sunday, August 6
The 5th annual S.A.V.E. the Lake Festival in Lake George will feature a fantastic lineup of bands and musicians in Shepard Park from Friday through Sunday. Highlights will include Sirsy on Friday, Adirondack Jazz Project on Saturday, and the Stony Creek Band on Sunday. A $10 donation is suggested.
