On Wednesday, July 26th, Adirondack Winery held their Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for their second tasting room location that recently opened in Bolton Landing. Community members came out to show their support and excitement for the tasting room as a fun & educational attraction right in the heart of town. Members from both the Bolton Landing and Lake George Regional Chambers of Commerce gave their support and agreed the winery is a great draw for locals and visitors alike. Town Supervisor, Ron Conover, said Adirondack Winery is “a great fit” for the town.
Owners Sasha and Michael Pardy are happy to be in Bolton Landing. They had been searching for the right location for a second tasting room since late 2015 until they found this one last fall. They call the decor ‘Modern Adirondack’ and it certainly fits the bill. Many pieces were sourced from local businesses including the rustic wood facing on the bar and wine barrel & wood topped tables. Modern industrial touches can be seen in the displays as well as the bar’s foot rail. A full wall chalkboard, created by their in-house design team, is filled with beautiful wine-related artwork and typography. The other show stopper is their handmade crushed wine bottle bar top that has more than 12 cases of bottles suspended in epoxy by the Pardys themselves. This location also has plenty of room for private parties and events like Uncork & Craft.
Like their Lake George tasting room, more than 20 of their New York wines are available for purchase at the new location. Their Wall of Wine is filled with selections for every palate including unique offerings like Sunny Day, a pineapple-infused Vignoles and Adirondack Overlook, a barrel-aged Chardonnay. There is also a selection of wine-related gifts.
The Bolton Landing tasting room is open 7-days a week from 10am-9pm. Find it at 4971 Lake Shore Drive between Palazzo’s Pizzeria and Bob’s Ice Cream.
