1. Military Appreciation Weekend at Adirondack Winery
Thursday, November 5 – Monday, November 9
In honor of Veteran’s Day, Adirondack Winery invites active military personnel and veterans to come to their Lake George Tasting Room for a free wine tasting session, complimentary spiced wine cocktail, and special discounts on wine purchases!
Friday, November 6 – Sunday, November 8
Tickets are still available for all performances of Sweeney Todd, the tale of a mad barber who vows revenge on those who unjustly imprisoned him. The darkly intriguing Sondheim musical is reminiscent of flawed humans whose undoing reflects that of ancient tragic figures.
Friday, November 6 & Saturday, November 7
Head to the Glens Falls Civic Center for the 25th Annual Adirondack Stampede Charity Rodeo! This annual tradition features all the excitement of a pro rodeo, with 200 competitors participating in the seven standard rodeo events.
Saturday, November 7
As part of Veterans Appreciation Week, a field of flags – each with the name of a veteran – will grace the west lawn of the Fort William Henry. A musket salute and wreath laying ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 11 at 11:00am.
Saturday, November 7 & Sunday, November 8
This event is an opportunity for members of the community, camp alumni, and anyone interested in lending a hand to help close the camp for the winter after an amazing summer. There are work projects available for skilled and unskilled workers!
