A Taste of the North Country In Glens Falls

One of the most appetizing events in the Lake George region is the Annual Taste Of The North Country. On Sunday of the Adirondack Balloon Festival weekend, over 40 local restaurants gather in Glens Falls' City Park for the Taste of the North County.

Participating restaurants prepare special dishes to offer visitors, samples and the chance to taste from their menu. For visitors, it's a great opportunity to see what new restaurants they might want to try. By simply purchasing tickets, you have the opportunity to try a number of different local foods and desserts.

In addition to trying new foods, there is live music, kids games and entertainment, culinary demonstrations, and more enjoyment for the whole family.

The Taste of the North Country is put on by the Glens Falls Kiwanis organization. All proceeds benefit the many community service projects of the Kiwanis Club.
