Adirondack Winery raised a record-setting $20,000+ for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Southern Adirondacks through their 10th annual Drink Pink campaign – that’s $5,000 above their initial $15,000 goal! Here’s what they did differently this time around, and how much Adirondack Winery has raised for the organization since Drink Pink’s inception.
Over the past 10 years Adirondack Winery has raised more than $100,000 for Making Strides. From mid-September through October, a portion of every purchase made at the winery is donated to Making Strides; there are also Drink Pink products for sale like the limited edition Drink Pink Berry Breeze, raffle tickets, and fundraising events.
This year, Adirondack Winery held their first-ever Drink Pink Kickoff event at their new private event space at the Queensbury Tasting Room. Guests enjoyed wine glass candle making and wood sign painting with Wax ‘n’ Wix.
“We are once again honored to be the top fundraiser for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Adirondacks,” Adirondack Winery President and Co-owner Sasha Pardy said in a statement. “This disease has touched far too many people, and our Drink Pink fundraiser gives us an amazing opportunity to give back to our community and support this incredible organization.”
Adirondack Winery was the flagship sponsor of the local Making Strides event in Glens Falls on October 23. Together with dozens of other teams, over $60,000 was raised for Making Strides.
