Nettle Meadow Farm Wins Again – This Time, Globally
The 2022 World’s Top Cheeses have been revealed, and one of them is Kunik from Nettle Meadow. Kunik is described on their website as a “unique and voluptuous triple crème cheese.” Just two months ago the creamery was recognized by Food & Wine Magazine as one of the top 50 cheesemakers in the country.

Lake George Restaurants Rally Behind Ukraine
Last weekend, 10 McGillis Public House raised around $1,700 for Central World Kitchen, an organization that feeds Ukrainian refugees and citizens at cities and border crossings. Pizza Jerks, The Lagoon, and Gaslight have all joined in the effort with donation buckets inside their eateries. If you’re going out to eat this weekend, consider one of those restaurants and donate what you can!
Register Today for the Lake George Hike-A-Thon
According to the Lake George Land Conservancy, spots are already filling up for the Lake George Hike-A-Thon, scheduled for July 5th. This will be the 10th anniversary of the event that aims to showcase LGLC’s parks and preserves. This is a hybrid event with hikes and paddles taking place at various locations. The event is free, although donations are happily accepted. Register at lakegeorgehikeathon.org.
