If you’ve ever wanted to try ziplining, but the thought of being 60 feet high in the air has you backing away from the ropes and trees, hold up. Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course in Bolton Landing has a new attraction that, as it turns out, is not too extreme.
The Low Rider Zip Tour: For Beginners & Everyone Else
On April 17, Adirondack Extreme will debut their new Low Rider Zip Tour, an introductory zipline course designed for first-time or novice adventurers as well as veteran obstacle course enthusiasts. The course comprises 12 ziplines and 9 walking bridges.
The main difference between this and their other ziplining and treetop adventure options is the height: “Adirondack Extreme’s eight other adventure courses offer an additional 22 ziplines as part of an ensemble of obstacles and range in heights from 15 to 65 feet,” owner Jamie Johnson said in a statement. “The Low Rider Zip Tour guests will be zipping closer to the water and the forest floor with maximum zipline heights of 10 to 30 feet.”
So if you think you might be missing out by opting for this “introductory” course, think again! Not going as high can mean getting more up close and personal with nature.
Want to Do It All? You Can Do It All!
The Low Rider Zip Tour will be offered both as a stand-alone adventure option for $48 as well as an add-on option for as little as $10. There will also be packages that include parts of the adventure courses combined with this tour available for general admission and groups.
