Americade 2021 was slated for June, but organizer Christian Dutcher has officially moved those dates to dramatically increase the likelihood of the event taking place.
The 38th annual Americade will move from early June to the week of September 21 – 25, to allow for an additional three months of time for preparations.
“We want to make 100% sure that a 2021 Americade will happen, but we’re not confident an event of this size will be permissible in June,” Dutcher said in a statement. “But, moving it to September gives us very high likelihood of it happening.”
These dates work for the various vendors and participants of the festival; in fact, they were the only 2021 dates that worked for all key venues, and that did not overlap with another national motorcycle event. And, fall happens to be a gorgeous time of year in the Southern Adirondacks.
In the meantime, Dutcher is behind another exciting Lake George event happening soon that you can check out – Winterfest.
