Saturday, October 5
For fall fun in Ticonderoga, stop by King’s Garden at Fort Ticonderoga for a kid-friendly day of farmer’s market shopping, farm animals, and their massive 6-acre Heroic Corn Maze.
Saturday, October 5 to Sunday, October 6
The world’s largest garage sale returns to Warrensburg with more than 500 vendors selling antiques, crafts, collectibles, and food. The event sprawls across Main Street and into neighborhoods. If you’re free on Friday, it’s a good idea to stop by — vendors often set up their booths ahead of time.
Friday, October 4 to Saturday, October 5
Stop by the Holiday Inn Resort at Lake George for the first weekend of its Harvest Bar. Enjoy great cuisine and beverages, listen to live music, and play games.

Ongoing; first weekend starts Saturday, October 5
Join Adirondack Winery at their Lake George and Bolton Landing tasting rooms for the beginning of their annual Drink Pink month and Drink Pink Weekends. A portion of the proceeds from their Drink Pink tastings and Drink Pink merchandise will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Friday, October 4
The growing season might be over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tour a local lavender farm! Join SUNY Adirondack’s program at Lavenlair Farm in Whitehall for an afternoon of learning about the growing and harvesting of lavender, as well as its many uses. Preregistration is required.
Saturday, October 5
Head out to Stony Creek for an afternoon of kid-friendly fun. There will be hayrides, pumpkin decorating, bounce houses, games, and food. The highlight of the day is a performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by The Puppet People, featuring life-sized puppets.
