Halloween Weekend Highlights
Fright Fest – Friday, October 27 – Sunday, October 29
The final weekend of Fright Fest at The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom in Queensbury has arrived. Don’t miss out on all of the thrills by day and fright by night! There will be amazing shows, haunted houses, rides, ghouls, and much more.
HalloweenFest – Friday, October 27- Tuesday, October 31
One of the biggest Halloween celebrations in the Lake George Region is happening in Ticonderoga – the multi-day HalloweenFest. A variety of local businesses and organizations will be hosting events in the area this weekend, such as a magic show, a house of horrors, parties, trick-or-treating, and more.
Boathouse Halloween Costume Bash – Friday, October 27
The Boathouse Restaurant in Lake George will host their annual Halloween Costume Bash on Friday starting at 6:00pm. Enjoy live music and Halloween fun as you dance the night away!
LGBC Halloween Party – Friday, October 27
Check out the Lake George Beach Club’s Halloween Party on Friday night! The Radio Junkies will be performing live, and there will also be beer and drink specials, costume prizes, giveaways, a raffle, and more. The party will kick off at 9:00pm.
Ghost Tours at Fort William Henry – Friday, October 27 & Saturday, October 28
Make your reservations to one of Fort William Henry Museum’s weekend Ghost Tours. Hear the stories handed down over the years, as well as the personal tales of those leading the tour. Reservations are required, so call 518-964-6649 to check on availability for this Friday and Saturday.
HalloWine Weekend at Adirondack Winery – Saturday, October 28 – Tuesday, October 31
Stop by Adirondack Winery in Lake George and celebrate HalloWine Weekend! From Saturday through Halloween, the winery will be offering a witch’s brew wine cocktail, specials, free giveaways for their favorite costumes, and candy for the trick-or-treaters.
Alice In Wonderland Halloween Party at King Neptune’s Pub – Saturday, October 28
Have a blast at King Neptune’s Pub’s annual Halloween Party this Saturday starting at 9:00pm. The Square Pegs will be playing all your favorite music, and prizes will be awarded for the best overall costume, the best group costume, the most creative costume, and the funniest costume.
Boo 2 You! – Saturday, October 28
Bring the whole family to downtown Glens Falls for Boo 2 You, the city’s annual Halloween Block Party. Look forward to tons of entertainment, activities, a costume parade, spooky dance performances, and much more.
Lake George Halloween Parade – Sunday, October 29
Visit Lake George this Sunday and enjoy the annual Lake George Halloween Parade and Party from 3:00pm-5:00pm. The parade will begin at the Lake George High School Gym.
Enjoy Fall Festivities
Fall Festival Open House – Saturday, October 28
Camp Chingachgook in Kattskill Bay will host a Fall Festival Open House this Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm. Families will be able to enjoy a wide range of activities for free, including archery, hikes, s’mores, tours, crafts, and more. Reservations are required, so please call their office at 518-656-9462 ahead of time.
2017 Saratoga DBA Fall Festival – Saturday, October 28
Looking for a way to celebrate fall this weekend with the family? Take a trip to Saratoga Springs for the 16th Annual Saratoga DBA Fall Festival on Saturday from 11:00am-4:00pm. There will be tons of activities to enjoy in downtown ‘Toga, including a rock climbing wall, music performances, magic shows, a costume parade, and more.

Drink Pink! Wine Glass Painting Party – Friday, October 27
Join Adirondack Winery in Lake George for a special Drink Pink! Wine Glass Painting Party this Friday from 7:00pm-9:00pm. This fun and crafty night out will include wine, chocolate, and the opportunity to paint your own pair of wine glasses. A portion of ticket sales will benefit American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Adirondacks.
Making Strides of the Adirondacks – Sunday, October 29
This Sunday is the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides of the Adirondacks – a 2-mile walk to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and programs. The walk will begin at Cool Insuring Arena at 12:00pm, and it will be followed by a party at The Queensbury Hotel.
