Fantastic Fall Festivals You Can’t Miss
Thursday, September 21 – Sunday, September 24
Come watch as hundreds of hot air balloons launch into the sky at the 45th Annual Adirondack Balloon Festival in Queensbury and Glens Falls. There will be plenty of family-friendly entertainment at the festival all weekend long, including day and evening balloon launches, live music, activities, and more.
Lake George Steamboat Company Family Fun Festival
Saturday, September 23 & Sunday, September 24
On Saturday and Sunday during the Adirondack Balloon Festival, the Lake George Steamboat Company will host a Family Fun Festival at the Deuce Moose Grill (at the Steamboat Company’s pier). Some of the highlights will include bounce houses and inflatable obstacle courses, live music, face painting, and great food. Admission is free.

Adirondack Wool & Arts Festival
Saturday, September 23 & Sunday, September 24
Visit the Washington County Fairgrounds this weekend for the newly-named Adirondack Wool & Arts Festival, which will feature over 100 vendors, festival food, demonstrations, animals, and more. Admission is just $5 for adults, while kids 13 and under get in for free.
Oktoberfest at The Great Escape

The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom’s second Oktoberfest celebration is happening this weekend. Stop by the theme park for festive food, traditional German music and dancing, and a great selection of fall beers. This is their last Okotoberfest celebration of 2017, so don’t miss it!

Take a trip north of Lake George Village to Bolton Landing for a free music festival this Saturday! From noon to 10:00pm, a variety of performers will take the stage at Rogers Park, including Donna Britton, the Mike Leddick Band, and the True Grit Outlaws.
Marshall Tucker Band 45th Anniversary Tour

This Sunday, the Marshall Tucker Band will be taking their 45th Anniversary Tour to the shores of Lake George. The famous Southern rock group will perform at the Charles R. Wood Park Festival Commons with Skeeter Creek and Country Fresh.
Glens Falls Symphony: C’est La Vie
Sunday, September 24
Head over to Glens Falls High School for the opening concert of the Glens Falls Symphony’s 2017-18 season. The program of French music will feature Claude Debussy’s majestic La Mer (The Sea), the Roman Catholic Overture by Hector Berlioz, and Georges Bizet’s Symphony in C.

Ghost Tours at Fort William Henry

Feel like getting spooked? Attend one of the Fort William Henry Museum’s exciting Ghost Tours! This weekend, the tours will take place on Friday and Saturday night at the fort, and reservations are required.
Annual Theatrical Cemetery Tour at Pineview Cemetery

The 17th Annual Cemetery Tour at Pineview Cemetery in Queensbury will be held this Saturday from 10:00am-1:00pm. Actors in the cemetery will bring to life the stories of several local women from the area’s past, such as Margaret McEchron Bowden, Marion Chitty, and Shirley McFerson. Reservations are strongly recommended to ensure a spot in one of the tours on Saturday.
Lake Luzerne Annual Halloween Pugs & Pumpkins Party
